This free exhibit – titled “ARTWorks: The National Arts Program In Pittsburgh” – showcased the
work of City of Pittsburgh employees, their families and members of their households.
The City-County Building’s grand lobby served as the setting in April for this impressive collection of paintings,
photographs, drawings, pottery and other unique pieces of artwork. Nearly 100 City employees and their
relatives submitted the 129 pieces on display.
The 9th Annual “ARTWorks: The National Arts Program in Pittsburgh” was sponsored by
The National Arts Program Foundation and the City of Pittsburgh Department of Parks and
Recreation.
