2012 Christmas Tree Recycling Program - The City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works will be collecting Christmas trees from all residents from January 3 - January 31, 2012.

Only City residents may drop off yard debris at collection centers. Proof of residency is required.

The City does accept:

Leaves
Grass
Plants
Tree Trimmings
Branches
Shrubs - loose or placed in paper bags (no plastic bags accepted)

The City does not accept:

Stones
Dirt
Rocks
Manure
Garbage
Lumber or food waste

8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
West End Drop-off Center may offer Saturday hours. Call for details.

FREE for City residents. No charge for cars & SUVs; fee for trucks and vehicles with trailers. Call for details.

Public Works yard drop-offs are for city of Pittsburgh residents only. Commercial vehicles are not allowed. Proof of residency is required.

A new fee for yard debris drop-offs is required. Money orders only. Make payable to City of Pittsburgh Treasurer.

Cars and SUVs	No charge
Cars and SUVs with trailer	$20.00 per load
Pickup Trucks and Vans	$20.00 per load
Pickup Trucks and Vans with trailer	$30.00 per load
Dump Trucks or Large Boxed Vans with prior approval from Director of DPW	$50.00 per load
