The Bureau of Environmental Services is responsible for all refuse collection for the City of Pittsburgh. Other Environmental Services responsibilities include recycling, bulk waste pickup, rodent control, and animal control.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event PDF File - On Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9 a.m. - 1p.m. at North Park. $2 per gallon - cash only.

Stormwater - Stormwater can pollute our water supply. Join the City of Pittsburgh in managing stormwater.

Bulk Pick-Up Now Weekly - City residents will have an opportunity to place a maximum of two bulk items at the curb for pick up every week.

Appliance Drop-Off PDF File - Drop off old, broken or unwanted air conditioners, refrigerators and other major appliances that contain Freon.

Paperboard Now Accepted at Centers - Drop-off centers now accept paperboard (a type of thick paper used for packaging). Residents can mix paperboard with magazines and catalogs.
