The Smithfield Street and Liberty Avenue Garage is located adjacent to Pittsburgh's Cultural District, the Harris Theater, and Benedum Center on the Liberty Avenue side and a short walk to PNC Park and Heinz Field. On the Smithfield Street side it is adjacent to Burlington Coat Factory, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and an assortment of restaurants, novelty and specialty stores.  It is one of the Parking Authorities highest trafficked facilities.

For customer convenience there are entrances/exits to/from the garage on both Smithfield Street and Liberty Avenue, between Strawberry Way and Seventh Avenue.
