The Grant Street Transportation Center (GSTC) Garages and the Greyhound Lines Bus Terminal is located at the confluence of 11th Street, Liberty Avenue, Penn Avenue & 12th Street, at the end of Grant Street heading toward the Strip District.  It is adjacent to the East Bus Way, Amtrak, the Pennsylvanian and the Convention Center; bifurcated by the Norfolk Southern rail road, one block away from the Federal Building, USX Tower, John Heinz History Center, Westin Convention Center Hotel, the August Wilson African-American Cultural Center and the front door to the Strip District. 

There are two separate color coded garages and lobbies; Red Lobby A (located at the corner of 11th Street & Liberty Avenue) & Blue Lobby B (located on Penn Avenue), the Manager’s office is also adjacent to this lobby.  The Greyhound Lines Bus Terminal is located on the first floor with the entrance at the corner of 11th Street & Liberty Avenue.

The Grant Street Transportation Center (GSTC) had its Grand Opening September 29, 2008.  It is comprised of two separate and distinct garages and lobbies.  Garage & Pedestrian Lobby A is color coded Red and the entrance to the garage for parking vehicles is located on Penn Avenue.  Garage A’s Red Pedestrian Lobby is at the corner of 11th Street & Liberty Avenue.  This entrance is also shared with the Greyhound Lines Bus Terminal as well.  Garage A has five and two third levels of parking with approximately 428 total lined spaces which includes 12 handicap spaces.

Garage & Pedestrian Lobby B is color coded Blue and the entrance to the garage for parking vehicles is located on 12th Street near the corner of 12th Street & Penn Avenue.  Garage B’s Blue Pedestrian Lobby is on Penn Avenue.  There are six levels of parking with approximately 563 total lined spaces which includes 12 handicap spaces 2 of which are van accessible spaces (second level).

For your paying convenience, there are charge card accepting pay on foot machines & cashiers.

The Greyhound Lines Bus Terminal is located on the first level of the GSTC and its Pedestrian Lobby is located at the corner of 11th Street & Liberty Avenue.  It shares a common entrance with the Pittsburgh Parking Authority’s Red Lobby.  The Greyhound Lobby has amenities such as a fully functioning restaurant open to the public.  There is a Travelers Assistant Office adjacent to the Greyhound Lobby. 

The Center has approximately 6,193 square feet of a shelled, rentable retail space which is located on the Penn Avenue side of the facility.  This space can be subdivided if need be.

The center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with round the clock security.   This state of the art facility is a short walk to businesses in the Strip District, Liberty Avenue, Penn Avenue, 12th Street &, Grant Street.
