Storywalk

Books come to life with Storywalk 2009. Don't miss this free event with your kids!

Enjoy a wide-eyed experience with a talking fish...a grumpy troll...and climbing letters!

Take a walk with your family in beautiful Frick Park and discover these and many other unlikely sights at the 10th annual Storywalk.

Children's books come to life during this FREE event co-presented by Citiparks and Beginning with Books Center for Early Literacy. Bigger-than-life story sets serve as the backdrop of a day of reading and fun- as well as music, games and other activities.

Wear your favorite hat, and join in the Puppet Parade PDF File along the Alphabet Trail PDF File. As a special treat, Elizabeth Fitzgerald Howard will share her beloved book, Aunt Flossie's Hat (and Crab Cakes Later).

For more information, call the Citiparks Community Enrichment Program Office at 412-665-3665 or Beginning with Books at 412-361-8560.
