The Schenley Park Skating Rink is open for ice skating during the winter. Throughout the winter the rink operates daily and offers a variety of public sessions and special sessions such as family nights, adults only nights and college ID discount sessions. The facility hosts three special events: "Skate with Santa" in December, "Mascot Skate" in January, and "Valentines on Ice" in February.
The Schenley Park Skating Rink also features a meeting/banquet room with kitchen available for rental year-round.

One youth will be admitted free with each paid adult admission. News Radio 1020 KDKA will be on site with prizes and giveaways.
Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Bring along the kids - and the camera to capture these holiday memories - and "Skate with Santa" during this popular annual event at the Schenley Park Skating Rink.

Citiparks’ 6th Annual “Valentines on Ice” A Great Success
Citiparks' 2012 "Valentines on Ice" event was a glowing success! Hundreds of skaters took to the red & pink luminescent ice at the Schenley Park Skating Rink on February 14. They skated to romantic tunes and took a chance on the prize wheel of media sponsor 100.7 Star FM. A special thank you to presenting sponsor UPMC Health Plan for making the event possible.
Each couple received a beautiful rose courtesy of Alex'sFlowers.com in Oakland and a delicious assortment compliments of Betsy Ann Chocolates. Massage Envy of Squirrel Hill provided invigorating neck, back & shoulder massages throughout the evening and Jeff & Colleen Shirey of Salsa Pittsburgh provided free dance lessons. Lucci's Pizza in Squirrel Hill served delicious hot pizza.
Citiparks' exciting "Go for the Heart" couples puck shooting contest awarded a grand prize of an overnight hotel stay at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown in addition to a variety of other prizes such as restaurant certificates, club memberships and spa/massage/manicure packages.

Facility Rental
Schenley Park Skating Rink features a meeting/banquet room with kitchen available for rental year-round. The meeting/banquet room serves as an ideal setting for graduation parties, weddings, birthday parties and other occasions.
- Rental rate - $65.00 per hour, or $400.00 all day (minimum 4 hour rental),
$100.00 alcohol permit (non-refundable)
- Deposit - $100.00, non-refundable due 7 days after booking (extenuating circumstances will be considered, see office)
- Days/Hours - 7 days a week, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Occupancy - 150 people standing, 128 seated
- Amenities - Use of tables and chairs, air conditioned room, commercial kitchen with stove, refrigerator (no ice maker), freezer, sink and microwave, separate male and female restrooms, access to balcony, decorative fireplace, coat rack, street parking
