Citiparks and the Pittsburgh International Children's Theater co-present the Pittsburgh International Children's Festival—five days of extraordinary professional performing arts for children.

The 2012 Festival is pleased to welcome featured performers from Australia, Japan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.

This extremely popular event is one of only four international theater festivals for kids in the United States.

The festival grounds in Oakland—Schenley Plaza, the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning's lawn, and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh—feature free hands-on educational and cultural activities, an outdoor stage, roving artists and much more.

Schedule: The 2012 Children's Festival is scheduled for May 16-20, 2012.
