Compete at the Citiparks Senior Games
this summer. Head out to the court, the
course or the park for some enjoyable
competition! If you’re 60 years or older—and
a resident of Allegheny County—take part
in the Summer Senior Games, sponsored
by Citiparks SeniorInterests, at various
locations throughout the area.
Compete in archery, basketball shooting,
bocce, bowling, darts, 5K run, golf (9 holes),
horseshoes, kooshball, pool (8-ball),
shuffleboard, table tennis and track & field
(casting, frisbee toss, 1/2 mile walk and
softball throw). Then celebrate by attending
the Senior Games awards banquet.
The Greenfield Glide 5K Run/Walk – held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 in Schenley Park – is part of the Citiparks Summer Senior Games. The top three finishers in the 60-and-over age division receive Citiparks Senior Games medals along with the 5K race awards.

The SeniorInterests Program annually travels by group as the Pittsburgh contingency to this exciting week-long event.
It’s a perfect opportunity for seniors of all ages, since divisions for the Pennsylvania Senior Games range from age 50 to 95+ for both the men’s and women’s divisions.
