Chinese American Program
Healthy Active Living—in collaboration with the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA)—has developed an innovative program to serve seniors from the Chinese American community.
Monthly activities take place throughout the year at the Greenfield Senior Community Center and feature topics such as health and wellness, nutrition, information and referral, socialization and recreation. The center also offers "English as a Second Language" (ESL) classes.
To better serve Chinese American seniors and facilitate communication, the Greenfield Senior Community Center includes a full-time staff member who speaks Mandarin.
The program, which is partially funded by the Area Agency on Aging, meets throughout the year. For more information on this program, call 412-422-6551.
