At the beginning of April the City-County Building's grand lobby served as the setting of an impressive collection of 175 paintings, photographs, drawings, pottery and other unique pieces of artwork created by more than 115 City employees and their relatives (professional, nonprofessional and youth artists).
The free exhibit - titled "ARTWorks: The National Arts Program In Pittsburgh" - allowed artists of all skill levels the rare opportunity to exhibit their work as well as to compete for cash prizes and art education scholarships.

Noel Mullen of Mt. Oliver, daughter of Michael Mullen, Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.
Title of Artwork: Avi, painting (Adult Intermediate division)
 Judges’ Choice (Teen/Youth):
Zachary Imbrogno of Lincoln Place, son of Gary Imbrogno, EMS Bureau.
Title of Artwork: Waiting, intaglio print (Teen 13 – 18 division)
