When I was elected to Council, I made a pledge to improve transparency in government. This pledge starts with my own Council office. Last September, my staff and I developed a tracking system for all constituent service cases that came to our office.
In our 2008 newsletter, I provided some data on the year’s activities. Please take a look at our midyear update below. You’ll find information on the kind of questions we receive and the neighborhoods that we serve. In just six months, we’ve responded to nearly 550 requests for service.
