Let’s Go Bucs, Let’s Go Green
On April 8, 2008, Council Members Patrick Dowd and Bruce A. Kraus recognized the Pittsburgh Pirates for their “Let’s Go Bucs, Let’s Go Green” initiative.
Pirates President Frank Coonelly, pictured at podium above, was on hand to accept the proclamation.
The initiative is an organization-wide recycling and sustainability program that serves as a model for baseball teams and parks around the country.
