The Shade
Tree Commission is a non-profit organization, commissioned by the
Mayor's office with the task of restoring and maintaining the city's
tree population. Trees in the city provide beauty and utility. The
Shade Tree Commission recognizes the value and believes that Pittsburgh's
urban trees are one of our city's greatest assets. We invite you
to explore our site, with the hope that you will join us in making
the City of Pittsburgh a greener place to live and work.
