section investigates and adjudicates employment, housing and public
accommodations discrimination claims. In addition, this service
enforces City Code provisions regarding the investigation and adjudication
of civil right claims against City employees when acting in their
official capacity.
Intergroup/Police
Community Relations
This section mediates group conflicts, enhances intergroup
relations and works to improve police-community relations.
This section also studies the systemic causes and effects of prejudice
and intolerance.
Education
and Outreach
This
section organizes and provides presentations and seminars to insure
compliance, reduce prejudice and inform the public of their rights
and related issues.
