Please Note: Effective December 31, 2006 the City of Pittsburgh, in accordance with the State of Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, has adopted the 2006 International Codes issued by the International Code Council.

Building
Codes
The following
model codes, as amended by the City, are currently in effect for
all work in the City of Pittsburgh. Copies of these codes
(except the electrical code ), along with the local amendments,
may be obtained at the Bureau of Building Inspection (412-255-2175).
Copies of the model codes only, without local amendments,
may also be obtained from the model code organization.
