When You Need A Sign Contractor License:
Anyone who erects, alters, repairs, and/or maintains ground signs, wall signs, projecting signs, roof signs, post signs, or similar signs must obtain a license from the
License Officer.
How To Obtain A Sign Contractor License

What To Bring With You:
- When applying for a Sign Contractor License in person, you must bring the following materials with you, or your application cannot be processed.
- The name of the licensee (your name), proof of identification, and any other name under which your business is to be conducted.
- The address of the business you are licensing.
- A certificate of standard from Contractors Public Liability Insurance covering personal injury with limits not less than $250,000.
- Proof of registration for all City Taxes (i.e., City Tax ID Number).
