When You Need A Bed and Breakfast License:
Anyone who owns or operates a bed and breakfast establishment within the City of Pittsburgh must obtain a license from the License Officer.
How To Obtain A Bed and Breakfast License:
In
Person: Go to the City Licensing and Permits Office, 200

You will

Once downloaded, print the application, fill it out completely, and mail it and all other relevant materials listed under "What To Bring With You" and "Fee" below to:

Make all checks and money orders payable to Treasurer, City of Pittsburgh.
What To Bring With You:
When applying for a Bed and
Breakfast License in person, you must bring the following materials with you, or your application cannot be processed.
- The name of the licensee (your name), proof of identification, and any other name under which your business is to be conducted.
- The address of the business you are licensing.
- Copy of current occupancy permit.
- City Tax ID Number.
If you want, print out this License Application, fill it out completely, and bring it with
you to the Licensing and Permits Office to speed up the process.
Term of License:
A license issued shall be valid for a term of one (1) year from the date of issuance
and shall be renewed yearly.
